Maybe a friend sent you a link, or a B1G post turned up on your Facebook feed. You're curious, and you'd like to know what you're walking into before you go. This guide takes you through it in order.
B1G Angeles is the singles ministry of CCF Angeles (Christ's Commission Fellowship), which means we're the church's group for single adults. We're singles and young professionals from Angeles, Mabalacat, San Fernando and nearby, and we're growing in faith together. About once a month we meet in Angeles for worship, a message from God's Word (the Bible), and time to hang out.
You don't have to be a Christian to come. If you're exploring faith, you are welcome.
Register before you come
You register online, on the B1G website, before the event. The first time, you'll make a profile, which takes about 2 minutes. After that, we remember you, so signing up for the next event is quick.
Come on your own or bring a friend. Singles and young professionals are all welcome.
On the day
When you arrive, say your name at the registration desk, and you're in. Volunteers run every B1G event, and the people at that desk are among them.
Each event has its own theme, and the program changes with it. This year we've had Unstoppable: God's Power Through Courageous Women in March, Him, Her and God in June, and a pickleball fellowship in September (fellowship is church language for time spent together).
Some things keep showing up in our event photos, though. Worship is one of them, and in this case it means singing to God together with a live band on keyboard, guitar and vocals. Sing along or just listen.
There's also a message, which is a talk based on the Bible. At some events one speaker gives it, and at others a panel of speakers answers questions.
Some events have icebreakers, with a microphone passed around the room. You might also sit in a small circle, called a breakout group, and talk through questions about the message. A volunteer guides each circle, and you can share as much as you're comfortable with.
We also stand and pray together. The Food team, one of our volunteer teams, plans, prepares and serves the meals and snacks. There's often a group photo, too.
Next up: WONDER on 17 October
Our next event is WONDER: A Night of Worship and Thanksgiving, on Saturday, 17 October 2026, at the SMX Convention Center, SM City Clark, hosted with Elevate. Registration at the venue starts at 1:00 PM, and the program runs from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
It's an afternoon of worship and thanksgiving, and its theme comes from the Bible's letter to the Hebrews (Hebrews 12:28-29).
Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe.
Hebrews 12:28 (ESV)
Jobs change and plans fall through. Hebrews points to God's kingdom, his rule over everything, as the thing that stays, and it asks for gratitude and worship in return.
If you're single or a young professional, register on the website before you come, and bring a friend or an officemate along. We'll see you at SMX.
